OmaSp Stadion – Seinäjoki

Seinäjoki’s OmaSp Stadium was completed in the summer of 2016, with Ledimedia responsible for its digital displays. We were involved already during the construction phase, delivering a comprehensive package that included:

• A 25 m² LED scoreboard
• A 144-meter-long LED perimeter around the field
• A 30 m² outdoor advertising display on the stadium façade
• Several fixed illuminated advertisements
• And up to 80 info and price displays installed in the restaurant and conference areas

In the following years, we have continued to develop the stadium by installing two additional scoreboards at the ends and another 75 meters of LED display surfaces into the grandstand structure. As a result, OmaSp Stadium has become one of the most advanced and digitally equipped football stadiums in Finland.

Areno and LedimediaCloud at the core of management

All of the stadium’s digital display surfaces are managed through the LedimediaCloud system, which enables control of scoreboards, perimeter displays, restaurant info screens, and large advertising surfaces. During games, scoreboard operation is handled by the parallel Areno software, specifically designed for the needs of sporting events. Together, these systems create a unified solution that enables both real-time score tracking and versatile use of advertising and visual effects.

Digital displays for restaurants and events

The stadium’s restaurant and conference areas were modernized with digital displays that can be used flexibly for showing menus, product information, and match broadcasts. This allows customers to follow the game even while placing orders.

In addition, four large LED screens were installed on the stadium’s performance stage to support the visual production of concerts and events. The screens are permanently mounted for year-round use, enabling the stadium to host world-class performers such as DJ Tiësto and The Offspring during the Solar Sound Festival.

Modern multi-purpose stadium

OmaSp Stadion toimii kotikenttänä Veikkausliigan SJK:lle ja tarjoaa tilat myös erilaisille tapahtumille. Kapasiteetti on jalkapallossa noin 6 000 katsojaa ja konserteissa jopa 10 000. Rakennuksen arkkitehtina toimi Jyrki Jääskeläinen, ja sen valmistumista juhlistettiin kesällä 2016 SJK–HJK -ottelun myötä. Sittemmin stadion on vakiinnuttanut asemansa paitsi urheilun, myös konserttien ja yritystapahtumien monipuolisena tapahtumapaikkana.
