Areno is a Finnish scoreboard system developed by Ledimedia Oy, designed for centralized management of scoreboards and display surfaces at sports events. The system can be connected to multiple devices, such as LED scoreboards, pitchside advertising displays, info screens, and other display units. In addition to controlling the scoreboard, the system allows you to manage advertisements, visual effects, player introductions, and communications in customer areas.

Scoreboards
An LED display can be used as a scoreboard for both indoor and outdoor use. The LED display requires a scoreboard system that handles presenting the score information to the audience and players. The scoreboard system allows the on-screen graphics to be customized for different sports, making the same display suitable for multi-sport use. Advertisements can also be shown on the scoreboard without the score ever being hidden.
Pitchside advertising displays
Pitchside advertising displays are among the most visible and effective digital display solutions at sporting events. They are placed along the edges of the field, rink, or track, keeping them constantly in view of both the audience and TV cameras. This makes them an excellent platform for both information display and sponsor or partner communication. With LED display technology, pitchside screens can be built into continuous advertising surfaces stretching hundreds of meters in length.
Media cube
An LED media cube — often called a video cube or jumbotron — is the most eye-catching digital element of a sporting event. Built with modern LED technology and typically suspended from the center of the arena ceiling, the four-sided or multi-sided cube is visible to all spectators, providing a top-tier viewing experience. The media cube combines the scoreboard, entertainment, and commercial content in a visually striking way that defines the atmosphere of the arena.
Ribbon displays
Ribbon displays are long, narrow LED screens that run along railings, balcony edges, or walls of arenas and stadiums. They can be straight or curve around the venue in a continuous ring. Ribbon displays are especially common in large arenas and stadiums, where they create a visually impressive, immersive experience around the stands. Their strength lies in their continuous motion and rhythm, which add energy to the event while providing ample advertising space. Ribbon displays are also used for various effects, such as goal animations.
