Modern Football Scoreboard for Huhtahalli

Huhtahalli in Jyväskylä — Finland’s largest and most modern permanent football hall — has been equipped with a new state-of-the-art LED scoreboard from Ledimedia Oy. The new solution supports the hall’s versatile use and provides improved facilities for both recreational players and top-level athletes.

Large-Scale LED Scoreboard for Multi-Sport Use

The installed LED scoreboard measures approximately 11.5 x 3.8 meters, totaling 44 m². While primarily designed for football, it also serves other sports played in the hall, such as Finnish baseball, American football, and rugby. The scoreboard is equipped with an additional protective net that provides extra safety in front of the LED panels.

Areno Software at the Core of Control

The scoreboard is operated using Areno, a software developed by Ledimedia and designed to meet the requirements of various sports. Areno allows pre-configured league levels, teams, and players to be saved, making operation smooth and efficient regardless of the sport. It can be used flexibly via tablet, laptop, or desktop computer — an ideal solution for a multi-purpose venue like Huhtahalli.

Advertisements and Effects Enhance the Game Experience

The scoreboard’s role extends far beyond just showing scores. With Ledimedia’s software, it can also display sponsor advertisements and dynamic visual effects that enhance the match experience — such as “Goal!” animations. This makes the system a seamless combination of sporting information and entertainment.
